The paper discusses the urgent need to promote cooperation to advance ME/CFS research in Europe. The ME/CFS EUROMENE Biomarker Landscape project has been established in order to develop surrogate markers to improve diagnosis and to facilitate the analysis of clinical trials. This paper also discusses ways of improving biomarker development. The map below shows the extent of current biomarker research.
