EUROMENE: promoting Europe-wide collaboration in ME/CFS
We are delighted to announce a recent publication in the Journal of Translational Medicine, entitled The European ME/CFS Biomarker Landscape project: an initiative of the European network EUROMENE. The paper was co-authored by Eliana Lacerda from the CureME team, together with colleagues from 10 other European countries.
The paper discusses the urgent need to promote cooperation to advance ME/CFS research in Europe. The ME/CFS EUROMENE Biomarker Landscape project has been established in order to develop surrogate markers to improve diagnosis and to facilitate the analysis of clinical trials. This paper also discusses ways of improving biomarker development. The map below shows the extent of current biomarker research.
